This is the English translation of the Üyelik Sözleşmesi. For members habitually resident in Türkiye the Turkish text prevails; for all other members this English text prevails.
1. Parties
This Membership Agreement (the "Agreement") is concluded electronically between IS.TEAM LLC, a limited liability company organised under the laws of Delaware, USA, with its address at 8 The Green, Ste A, Dover, DE 19901, United States (e-mail: [email protected], company website: https://is.team, game website: https://northsultan.com) (the "Company"), and the natural person who creates an account in one of the North Sultan: 101 Okey, North Sultan: Batak or North Sultan: Satranç apps (together the "North Sultan games") (the "Member"), when the Member accepts it by ticking the checkbox in the app.
2. Subject
This Agreement sets out the conditions under which the Member may use the North Sultan games social game service provided by the Company — the North Sultan: 101 Okey, North Sultan: Batak and North Sultan: Satranç apps, the North Sultan account shared by these apps and the related web pages (the "Service") — and the mutual rights and obligations of the parties. The Terms of Use, the Purchase, Virtual Chips & VIP Terms, the Community Guidelines and the Tournament Official Rules form an integral part of this Agreement. In case of conflict, the provision more favourable to the consumer applies.
3. Membership conditions
- The Member declares that they are at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity.
- Membership is created with a guest account (bound to an app-generated device identifier), Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. A guest account can later be linked to an Apple or Google account.
- Each natural person may use only one account. Accounts are personal and may not be transferred, sold or rented.
- The Member is responsible for ensuring that their username and profile information comply with the law and the Community Guidelines.
- Membership is single and valid in all North Sultan games (the "North Sultan account"). Profile, friend code, friends and direct messages, virtual chip balance, VIP membership, daily gift, level/XP and titles, responsible-play settings and notification preferences are shared by all games; game statistics and rating (Sultan Points, SP, in 101 Okey and Batak; Elo rating in Satranç), the weekly league, tournaments, tables and table chat are kept separately for each game. Accepting this Agreement in one North Sultan game covers the North Sultan account in all games.
4. Rights and obligations of the Member
- The Member uses the Service within the framework of this Agreement and its annexes; if the Member buys a VIP membership, they enjoy the VIP benefits for the duration of the subscription.
- The Member agrees not to cheat, use bots, collude, dump chips, use multiple accounts or trade virtual chips/accounts, and not to disclose other members' personal data without permission.
- The Member is responsible for the security of the device and the Apple/Google accounts used to access their account.
- The Member may exercise their data-protection rights as described in the Privacy Policy (and, for Türkiye, the KVKK Aydınlatma Metni).
- The Member may terminate this Agreement at any time by deleting their account in the app (Account Deletion); the account is deleted for all North Sultan games together. An active VIP subscription must additionally be cancelled in the App Store / Google Play subscription settings.
- The Member may use the responsible-play tools (spending limit, break, self-exclusion) described in the Terms of Use §10.
5. Rights and obligations of the Company
- The Company operates the Service with reasonable care, with fair and random server-side tile and card dealing, and protects the Member's personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- The Company may develop and change the content, the in-game economy and the features of the Service; it announces in advance any change that materially and adversely affects purchased content.
- In case of breach the Company may apply the sanctions set out in the Terms of Use §9 and the Community Guidelines.
- The Company removes unlawful content and complies with lawful requests of competent authorities.
6. Virtual chips and digital items
Virtual chips and digital items are licensed solely for use within the Service; they have no monetary value, cannot be cashed out, cannot be transferred between Members and may not be bought or sold outside the Service. The chip balance is a single balance tied to the North Sultan account and can be used in all North Sultan games. Details: Purchase, Virtual Chips & VIP Terms.
7. Term and termination
- This Agreement is concluded for an indefinite term and ends when the Member deletes their account.
- The Company may terminate this Agreement with immediate effect if the Member seriously breaches it or its annexes, if the Member turns out to be under 18, or where required by law. Otherwise, if the Company wishes to discontinue the Service or a North Sultan game entirely, it announces this at least 60 days in advance; the discontinuation of only one North Sultan game does not end this Agreement or the North Sultan account.
- On termination, subject to statutory retention obligations, the Member's personal data is deleted or anonymised as described on the Account Deletion page.
8. Notices
The Company sends notices to the Member by in-app message, notification or (if any) the e-mail address linked to the Member's account. The Member sends notices to the Company at [email protected].
9. Evidence
The parties agree that, in case of dispute, the Company's server records, transaction (ledger) records and store (App Store / Google Play) receipt records may serve as evidence (for Türkiye within the framework of Art. 193 of the Code of Civil Procedure No. 6100). The Member's right to submit counter-evidence is reserved.
10. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, cyber-attacks, infrastructure or power outages, outages of store or cloud providers, and decisions of public authorities.
11. Changes
The Company may update this Agreement. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect, the version number changes, and the Member is asked to accept the current text again.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
Terms of Use §16 applies to the governing law and competent courts: consumers keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of their country of residence; consumers in Türkiye may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts of their place of residence.
13. Entry into force
This Agreement enters into force when the Member ticks the box "I have read and accept the Terms of Use and the Membership Agreement" in one of the North Sultan games. The accepted version and date are kept in the Company's records; the current text of this Agreement is always available on this page.
